Mmm Baby Yeah, Percolate For Me

So, uh, yeah.... what are you guys blogging about tonight?

I've cut in half my caffeine and sugar intake, and while my skin has a healthy Noxema commercial glow, my creativity has left me for more wired pastures. All the reserves have been used this week; there's a mere trickle of the good stuff left in my bloodstream.

So this is how it's gonna be huh? Healthy and sleepy, drooling on the keyboard waiting for my muse to come back from some Coke-soaked fantasy land?

There is a 24-hour Starbucks about 2 miles south, and it does have a drive-thru, so I wouldn't necessarily have to change out of my pjs. But there is the fact that, gasp! I don't like coffee. I'm not worldly enough to get hooked on the real stuff.

However, I do indeed love, and I mean LOVE, the smell of coffee. I will take several unnecessary trips down the coffee aisle at the grocery store, and will linger, nostrils flared, if there is one of those "bag your own" machines. Walking into a Starbucks is near orgasm-inducing. Oh yes, I'm that easy. I wonder if I could stir the creative juices with a walk-by sniff tomorrow morning?

Tonight, however, I will content myself with my all natural, no preservatives, no sodium, no caffeine Hansen's Cherry Vanilla Creme and call it a night.

I LOVE coffee- especially the Irish Creme flavored coffee. Made with two spoonsful creamer to make it richer and a half spoonful of REAL sugar to sweeten it to perfection.I know its about 150 cals a cup made that way- but it's either that or 850 cals when I eat the slice of chocolate cake with mocha frosting.

And the coffee calms and relaxes me too.

It's cafe-au-lait for me when I go out tho.
Starbucks......YUMMMMMMMMM!!

I used to be a coffee addict, and I mean an addict...upwards of 12 mugs of coffee per day.

Finally I realised that I just couldn't function without it, so went cold turkey.

It's not worth it. Yes, I may have been dependent on it, but why worry about being dependent on something that's so delicious?

I doubt the police will raid my house because of it.

"We raided the home at 4am this morning, and discovered several foil packs of Folgers Rich Roast, with a street value of over $10!"

Coffee - Without it, your head caves in.

I've considered buying one of those coffee grinders, not cause I drink coffee, but just so I could make my kitchen smell like it all the time. If Glade sold air-freshners that smelled like freshly ground coffee, they would all sell out and I'd be a happy man.

It's always nice to know I'm not the only one!

I would definitely buy those air fresheners. There must be some of freshly cut grass out there too...
