Nothing Against Anyone Who Shops There

But it will never be a Chico's kind of day in my world.

I hate those damn commercials.
What the hell is that?

"It was a Chico's kind of day.... All. Week. Long."

That's how the man says it, and come to think of it, he really seems to be enjoying himself, doesn't he? Throw on a little smooth jazz in the background, light a fire, break out the wine, and say "Oh yeah baby mmm" at the end. All they need is a 1-900 number.

$42 for a t-shirt? My bank account (and common sense) say no.

Yeah- I'm with you. I refuse to pay big bucks for a name too.

Funny thing tho- I used to dispise malls and department stores because I thought they were overpriced. And granted, some things ARE- but- I found that in the end- the stuff you buy at the discount stores are a bit shoddy and wear out/tear up after a short while. The department store and mall stuff tends to be of better quality and lasts longer and in the end you end up actually spending LESS money paying a bit more to begin with.

The best of BOTH worlds, however, are the Brand Name OUTLET MALLS!!

JACKPOT!!!

Oops....
And who thinks those commercials actually ATTRACT customers?

I'm more likely to avaid a place with a stupid come on like that.

Bleh!

The commercial is what really gets me, the store is kinda eh, whatever. And I admit to spending the big money on my work clothes, but t-shirts? Nah.

For me, $10 is the upper limit for a T-shirt.

I'll pay good money for dress clothes...but for t-shirts to hang around the house in? I'll stick with the three for ten bucks jobs.
